choosing the right counter ? Description

Hi,
I am about to remodel our kitchen and (http://maplered.com) am in the process of choosing what will be best for me. My big problem is that I am chemically sensitive. I am tired of tile because you have to use bleach for the grout which is very toxic for me and (http://maplered.com) the environment. I thought Stone (http://g603.net) would be a good choice only to learn that it must be sealed. With what ? Another chemical? Could Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) or lime Stone (http://g603.net) work with being sealed with pure beeswax? Is it true that there are mold or bacteria problems with these sonte surfaces? I really love the natural feel and (http://maplered.com) look of Stone (http://g603.net) products versus corian etc. . Is there any way for me to have a Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) or Stone (http://g603.net) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) without the usse of chemicals for upkeep?
Thank you,
Annette.
